Versatile Model Marissa Jade Ready for “The Big Event”

In addition to legendary wrestlers like Ric Flair and Jerry “The King” Lawler, “The Big Event” will feature beautiful and accomplished women from the modeling industry. WWE Diva-turned-model Kelly Kelly, who was a Maxim cover girl and featured in the Maxim Top 100 twice, is one of the many beauties scheduled to appear.

One model who will surely get the attention of those in attendance is Marissa Jade. The eye-popping brunette is one of the rising stars of the industry. From appearing in Johnny Walker ads to lead roles in music videos, like Jo Jo Pellegrino’s “Flawless”, Jade is making her mark in the modeling world.

“I’m exotic,” said the 5’5” Staten Island native. “I can play multiple roles and you can never guess my ethnicity or my age. I’m also evenly proportioned so I’m capable of booking gigs most girls at my height cannot book.”

Modeling is just the beginning for the busy Jade. She runs her own clothing line for toddlers, My Little Bumblebee, and has even produced her own comic book—all while handling the daily responsibilities of motherhood.

Kelly Kelly, Mickie James Lead List of Wrestling Beauties Appearing at Event in New York

Former WWE Diva and current model Kelly Kelly (Barbara Blank) and TNA Knockouts Mickie James and Miss Tessmacher (Brooke Adams) are set to headline “The Big Event” on March 2 at LaGuardia Plaza Hotel in East Elmshurst, N.Y.

Kelly Kelly will be available for autographs and photos with fans on March 2.

Kelly got her start in the wrestling business in 2006, after she signed with the WWE and debuted with the ECW brand. She began performing a weekly striptease called “Kelly’s Expose”, which was routinely interrupted by her jealous on-air boyfriend Mike Knox. Kelly’s popularity quickly grew and the fan favorite joined Monday Night Raw in 2008.

The blonde-turned-brunette bombshell later spent time on Smackdown in 2010, before returning to RAW, where she would capture the WWE Diva’s Championship after being chosen by the fans to face reigning champion Brie Bella in a “Power To The People” episode of Raw in June of 2011.

Outside of wrestling, Kelly has had a successful career in modeling. She most notably appeared on the cover of Maxim magazine in December of 2011, and has appeared in the Maxim Hot 100 in both 2011 (ranking 82) and in 2012 (ranking 38).

As for James, the Virginia native spent years in the independent circuit before attracting the attention of TNA. She signed with the company in 2003. Soon after though, James was given a developmental contract with the WWE. After spending parts of three years with Ohio Valley Wrestling, she was introduced in the WWE as a crazed Trish Stratus fan. It would not be long before James would come into her own, defeating Stratus at Wrestlemania 22 in 2006 to win the WWE Women’s Championship.

James has gone on to win eight titles, and is the only wrestler to have won the WWE’s Women’s, WWE Divas, and TNA Knockout’s Championship.

Like Kelly, James has had a great deal of success outside of the ring. In 2010, James entered the music industry, releasing her first country album entitled Strangers & Angels. Recently, the TNA Knockout has released a single named “Somebody’s Gonna Pay” off of her second album, which goes by the same name. A video for the song has been shot but not yet released.

Tessmacher first got into the wrestling business when she tried out for the WWE Diva Search in 2006. She was not selected at the time, but was later given a developmental contract by the the company. She spent parts of two years with Deep South Wrestling before debuting in ECW in 2007. Tessmacher worked side-by-side with Kelly, as well as Layla, to perform “Extreme Expose”, a weekly dancing segment.

Miss Tessmacher will also be a part of "The Big Event".

Tessmacher eventually joined TNA in 2010, first appearing as Eric Bischoff’s assistant. She later would see in-ring success, winning two TNA Women’s Knockout Championships and one TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship.

In addition to Kelly, James and Tessmacher, other gorgeous stars from the wrestling industry, like Lilian Garcia, Christy Hemme, Stacy Carter, So Cal Val and more will be appearing in East Elmhurst on March 2.

TNA Wrestler Mickie James Joins Star-Studded Lineup for “The Big Event”

Mickie James, a former WWE Diva and two-time TNA Women’s Knockout Champion, has been added to the list of guests appearing at “The Big Event” in East Elmhurst, N.Y., on March 2, which is being presented by Sports Fan Promotions.

Mickie James will meet New York wrestling fans on March 2.

The TNA Wrestling star will join former wrestler and current model Barbara Blank (formerly known as Kelly Kelly), WWE Raw announcer Jerry “The King” Lawler, wrestler Jeff Jarrett, actor Dustin “Screech” Diamond, former WWF personality Stacy “Miss Kitty” Carter and more for the convention in Queens.

James—the only wrestler in history to hold the WWE Women’s, WWE Divas and TNA Knockout Championships—along with the other guests, will be available for photo opportunities and autographs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The addition of James gives “The Big Event” another major wrestling star for fans to meet and greet. This will be a must-attend affair for wrestling fans and autograph collectors.

Admission for the show is $10. Additional guests will be announced soon.

Gionta and Volchenkov will meet NHL fans on Feb. 17

New Jersey Devils center Stephen Gionta and defenseman Anton Volchenkov will appear at Prime 34 Lounge in Aberdeen, N.J., on Sunday, February 17 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Hockey fans can meet the two Devils players, get autographs and take photos with both Gionta and Volchenkov.

For autographs of both players, tickets are $29. Photo opportunities with the two NHL stars are $20. Pictures (8×10 in size) are printed on site.

This autograph signing is a great opportunity for Devils fans to meet two of their favorite players, but if you cannot make it to Prime 34, visit the Sports Fan Promotions online store to purchase a signed photo.
